Hi! My name is Lukas Tiberio Klopfenstein and I’m a swiss graphic designer, filmmaker, visual effects artist and rock drummer. After attending the linguistic high school “F. Frezzi” in Foligno (Italy), where I spent most of my childhood, I went on to attend a short workshop at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles (California) where I started directing my first b/w 16 mm short films. After traveling three months all over south-east Asia, I went back to Italy and started working as a freelance director and editor on various short films (It.Aliens, Weg nach Rio, Figures in a Nightscape, Rousseau versus Rousseau). I then decided to move to Lugano (Switzerland), where – after a three years period – I graduated, with top marks, at SUPSI university as a Graphic designer and Visual communicator, with a thesis about letterpress printing.
At the end of February 2015 I graduated at the Vancouver Film School (Canada), where I studied 3d animation & Visual effects in order to pursue my dream of becoming a visual effects artist.
I’m now working as a Roto-Paint Artist at Double Negative, Vancouver.
